Pentoo : The PenTesting Distribution

Pentoo is a Linux Live CD designed for penetration testing and security assessment. Based on Gentoo and Enlightenment, Pentoo includes Nessus and Metasploit for penetration testing and security assessment. Pentoo can boot off a CD or USB flash drive.Pentoo supports package modularity in the same fashion that Slax does. The goal is to be fast , liteweight and as up to date as possible.The latest devlopment code, exploits are added to Pentoo's Metasploit Framework.
 The Name
Pentoo is designed for Penentration Testig and is based on Gentoo = Pentoo Live CD There are two versions of downloadable CD : -- Pentoo 2005.1 - This version is about 408mb, WM is gnome2.8 and have a lot more prohrams than Mini Edition -- Mini-Pentoo 2006.1 - This version is 208mb.
